About me
A graduate of Southern Oregon University, I have formal training in design and textiles , as well as the craft of upholstery. After my graduation in 1999 I became an apprentice at a local upholstery shop. After 6 months the owner decided to sell me his business and move back to his home country. Much of my continuing education has come through 21 years of working with unruly seam rippers, slippery fabrics, pushy notions and complex forms. I enjoy making old ugly things new and beautiful, keeping usable furnishing out of landfills, creating custom window seats and reading nooks that delight my customers.
